Audi A3 sedan has a highly efficient powertrain: 1.4-litre, 16-valve, four-cylinder, direct-injection 35 TFSI Turbo engine with 1.4-litre, four-cylinder, direct injection delivers 150 hp between 5,000 and 6,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque. The transmission is an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic and accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds and its top speed is 230 km/h.
Exterior and Interior Design
You notice a new front end with single-frame honeycomb grille. The Audi A3 sedan looks wider; this gives it a sporty appearance that matches the robust bonnet with its sharp lines and angular headlamps. The headlights of the new Audi A3 Sedan are fully LED with daytime running lights and the taillights also have dynamic turn signals; their wedge shape emphasizes the sporty design. Adding to the style are the spoiler and bumper finished in anodized aluminum, which provides added protection.

Minimalist design prevails with precise horizontal lines and a 30-colour multicolour lighting package that adds a touch of dynamism to suit every personality or mood. Towards the centre tunnel, we find an innovative gear lever with "shift by wire" technology. Then, next to it, a sensory feedback button to operate the multimedia system.

Technology: infotainment
The interior of the Audi A3 is fully digital and designed for the driver. It is equipped with a 10.1" touchscreen. The MMI (Multi Media Interface) multimedia centre is equipped with MIB 3 technology. It is located in a black trapezoid-shaped section slightly below the instrument panel in the center section.
